Ever since I saw the film Sleepless in Seattle I have always imagined living in a Houseboat.
I'm putting Houseboat on our Holiday List. For the kids, it will be an adventure.
For myself, I'm a water lover and will find any excuse to be near it.
Have you ever lived or vacationed on a Houseboat?
I would love to read about it.
My husband and I travelled to Amsterdam a few years ago and I fell in love with houseboats there. I will never forget how cosy and inviting they looked late at night whilst wondering along the cold banks! I adore the boat in the last pic!

ReplyDeleteI was just saying to my husband today as we drove past Lake Eildon - I would love to rent a houseboat but it would have to be one of those old fashioned seventies style boats that I used to see around when I was a kid.
